Park Farm Pumas - A (Brand New Team for the 2021/2022 Season Saturday League)

Park Farm Pumas - A Team were at Home to Leverington Sports - A in what was expected to be a comfortable victory against the bottom of the league team (without any points in 6 games). That didnt happen and Park Farm Pumas produced their worst display to date (including pre season), lacked desire and passion and consistent long balls just didnt work. Miss placed passes, poor touches, no link up play. During the full 90 minutes there was probably a 5 minute spell in which some football was trying to be played. A day to forget for the team and hopefully this display will never happen again.

Starting 11:

GK - James Anderson (5) - Awful performance from Ando today with constant moaning slating the team and things weren't working (which we could all clearly see), to top it off he decided to act unprofessionally towards the referee and from the original Yellow card (between a bust up of himself and the opposition player) he was going to get, it became a Red (violent conduct towards a match official). No remorse for his actions and will now see him serve a 3 match ban.

CB - Annis Ajani (5) - Annis was given a chance today to play in a back 3 and started off in the centre of a 3, was ripped inside out on numerous occasions early on and it see a switch with Brad stepping into CB and Annis moved to LCB. No better and continued to be out of position and slow to the pace of the game, was substituted on 30 minutes and replaced for MJ.

RCB - Ryan Bloor (9) - Only one of 3x players who can walk off the pitch today and say they performed to a standard which would be classed as acceptable. Was Excellent today and was the best player on the pitch, he commanded the game from the back and in what was a poor first half overall he stepped up to score a penalty to take the team in at half time 1-0. Second half he continued his performance by creating an assist for the second goal to Shane, just rounded off a great game for Ryan.

LCB - Bradley Bloor (8) - Brad solid again and didn't put a foot wrong as he doesn't normally. Even though we had a lacklustre team performance he constantly encouraged his team mates to keep going.

LW - Scott Kinlan (6) - Kinlan battled hard for 90 minutes up and down the channels and tried to create things but end product was lacking today as was across the attack for the team today.

CM - Ryan Parish (6) - Stepped in to midfield today but due to the poor game that was played by the team it was difficult to produce any sort of quality play.

CM - Thomas Bass (6) - Normally solid every game he plays but today was his worst performance to date, lacked his normal intelligent play in gluing the midfield together. Numerous miss placed/blind passes that did not come off and some negative remarks to his team (was across the team, not just him). He can be forgiven today as he has been excellent all season and the team had an off day today.

CM - Cameron Scott - (6) - Just didnt happen for Cam today as per the other 2 in midfield with him, battled but no end product. Normally with Cam you know he's been in the game for 90 minutes but today could only remember a couple of times him having the ball, the same as his team mate bassy he can be forgiven as he's had an excellent season to date.

RW - Jacob Martin - (6) - Jacob was buzzing for this game today and had a point to prove being out for 3 weeks, unfortunately it was all hype and no end product. A 6 was purely due to the running he did but lacked anything going forward, he can be forgiven as he was carrying a knock (maybe).

ST - Tee-Jay (5) - Tee-Jay simply today was very poor, nothing went right for him today. Touch was terrible, couldn't hit the goal even if he was 2 yards out. For a striker it's unacceptable, previous games he has backed up not scoring by workrate/play however today that didn't happen. He looked like a lost puppy in some bright headlights!

ST - Shane Macbeath (7) - For Shane today it didn't happen, poor game from him with constant forced passes and shots at goal. Is known for his free flowing link up play but because the team was so poor today it just didn't come off. Would of got a 6 rating today but just hit a 7 because he got the goal in the second half to make it 2-0 when before that Leverington had a couple of chances where they could of nicked a goal which the game could of had a different outcome.

Subs:

RCB - Michael-John (8) - Came on after 30 minutes in and played RCB next to the Bloor's brothers, slotted in perfectly and was excellent for the remaining 60 minutes of the game. Was solid and made the 3 at the back a lot stronger, won all his tackles and pushed the team forward when he could, different contrast from the game the week before.

LB - Andrew Brooks (6) - Came on at Left Back for the remaining 13 minutes to a change of formation 4-5-1 as the 3-5-2 just wasnt working, did what he needed to do for the remaining part of the game

AM - Josh Chapman (N/A) - Sub not used

CM - Brandon Wright (N/A) - Sub not used
