Match Report - DEEPING RANGERS DEVELOPMENT Vs PARK FARM PUMAS - A (League Game)

League Game - Number 5

Park Farm Pumas - A (Brand New Team for the 2021/2022 Season Saturday League)

Park Farm Pumas - A Team were away to Deeping Rangers Development FC in what was a very good game of Football. 10 Minutes in was a level game at 0-0 until Cam Scott played through Shane Macbeth (Split the defence through the middle) who went on and slotted past the keeper to make it 1-0. 33 Minutes in and Scott Kinlan stands over a free kick before finishing top right hand corner to make it 2-0, he then on 44 minutes continues his excellent game by finishing a screamer right in the top left hand corner whilst running to goal from outside the area. Half time we go in 3-0 up.

7 minutes into the second half Lewis Clarke plays a nice ball across goal from the wing where Kinlan is waiting for a tap in to complete his hatrick. A minute later and Shane is on the score sheet again to bag his second goal (Clarkey again with the assist). 2x additional goals later on in the game from Adam Emery (2nd of the season) and Ryan Guest (2nd of the season). Excellent play from Park Farm Pumas who play some quick keep ball over the 90 minutes which in turn restricted Deeping Rangers from playing. The defence were solid and didnt let anything by them (their goal was from a dead ball free kick and was just a point in the game when Pumas switched off briefly to allow them a tap in).

Match Ratings

Starting 11:

GK - James Anderson (8) - Ando back to his usual dominance, didnt have a great deal to do over the 90 minutes but commanded the goal, distribution in the game was very good (short balls especially to allow play out from the back) and didnt drop a single ball all game (glue to the gloves)

LCB - Bradley Bloor (9) - Ran his socks off for 90 minutes and was strong, bossed all his challenges and covered his team mates when needed, comfortable on the ball today and never looked in trouble. If it wasn't for Kinlan's performance Brad would have picked up Man of the Match today.

CB - Ryan Bloor (9) - Excellent game today, never looked in trouble from the minute the whistle went, recovery today was outstanding. Watches the game so intelligently and the thing that stood out today was everytime it looked like the opposition player was going to go past him or did go past Ryan he knew whether to stand or slide at the exact point (this prevented multiple chances being shut down for them). Was in the 3 for contender of Man of the Match.

RCB - Michael-John (8) - MJ did what he does on a weekly basis at present in being solid and keeping the back line strong. Positioning is getting better week by week and is adjusting to what is needed on a game by game basis.

LW - Scott Kinlan (10) - Kinlan was excellent and picked up a 10 rating for the overall way he conducted himself, he was positive from the kick off and was continuously up and down giving the team both defensive/attacking duties. He bagged a hat-trick but not just a hat-rick it's the way the goals were scored, goal 1 was a key point in the game when we had a free kick to make it 2-0 if he could score (did no disappoint, goes top corner and makes it 2-0), goal 2 was just outstanding with a screamer being hit from out side the area and the ball could not have gone any more in the corner and then onto number 3 goal which just summed his overall game. He see the game play out from the right hand side (wing) and read the fact that clarkey would beat his man and whip a ball in for Kinlan to get the tap in (that's pure determination and belief). Scott continued to run himself into the ground for his team mates before coming off on 70 minutes (slight injury), his best game of the season.

CM - Lewis Clarke (9) - One his best games of the season after bossing midfield with some elegant touches and created 2x assists before coming off on 76 minutes, is getting sharper game by game and gives the team something extra from midfield on an attacking perspective.

CM - Cameron Scott (8) - Good performance from Cam today, bossed it in centre mid, touch and passing was excellent today. Got himself an assist for Shane's goal early on to make it 1-0, always looks to break up play and turn the game onto the attack.

CM - Thomas Bass (8) - Intelligence was the winner today for Bassy, so many situations in the game which are missed when he would nick a toe to a ball or is in front of the player before they get to the ball. Positioning as he continues to do on a weekly basis stops the open spaces for the opposition to play intricate football.

RW - Shane Macbeath (9) - Excellent game from Shane, was on the wing today but naturally floats in and out and in doing so grabbed 2x goals and an assist and could have been more. Defensive duties were on hand when needed but on the front foot is so dangerous, is becoming a clinical finisher with now bagging 6 goals in 5 games for the season.

ST - Tee-Jay (8) - Tee-Jay's first game for the club (been out for a couple of months) and ran his socks off for 90 minutes, strong and should of bagged a goal. Sharpness will come as plays more games but great start and gives the team something different when going forward.

ST - Adam Emery (8) - Very good game today after being injured it's Adam's second game back and now has 2 goals in 2 games (great start), played as 2 striker partnership and linked well with Tee-Jay but the best plays were with Kinlan in what seemed to be a telepathically worked relationship (2x games now with these 2 and looks a good partnership). Played the 90 minutes.

Subs:

DF/MF - Annis Ajani (6) - Came on with 15 minutes to go and gave the team fresh legs and strengthened the midfield to see the game out.

AM - Ryan Guest (7) - Came on 69 minutes into the game for Scott Kinlan, ran hard and grabbed a goal. Should had a couple earlier but kept going to get won to make it 7-1 with 6 minutes to go.

AM - Josh Chapman (N/A) - Sub not used

CM - Ryan Parish (N/A) - Sub not used

DF - Andrew Brooks - (N/A) - Sub not used

Man of the Match - Scott Kinlan
